Account Director - Marketing Agency

Strong mid-weight/senior designer, initially 12 months maternity cover, but could lead to a full time position. Salary £is dependent on experience We need a strong design all-rounder to work on a wide mix of business for our UK & global clients. We’re a ‘no silo’ business! You’ll work very closely with account handlers, content experts & studio to bring campaigns to life in a varied environment. We need you to be a great ‘traditional’ designer, who understands brands and corporate identity – but nowadays we’re just as likely to be creating fast-paced inbound & content marketing work – so you need a foot in the new world too. You’ll be a strategic thinker with the confidence & ability to present your work & its rationale to other team members, account teams and sometimes clients. Naturally you’ll have an understanding of artwork, production & print processes. With the increasing demand for digital work, we also need you to be comfortable with front-end digital design (for example some website or microsite design, landing pages, banners, or email templates). You’ll be based at our offices in lovely Leamington Spa and this contract is for 12 months (covering maternity), though with our business growing, this could turn into a permanent position for the right person. Essentials: • A creative & conceptual thinker • Able to design for all channels (from an infographic to a corporate brochure) • Very comfortable in working with & interpreting C.I for our blue chip clients • Advanced working knowledge of Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, (Creative Suite) • Experience of designing for of inbound & content marketing (examples of such work would be great to see) • Working knowledge of user experience on digital platforms • Working knowledge of HTML 5 (eg to be able to create banners & emailers) • Ability to be flexible and respond effectively to changing priorities and challenging deadlines • Pro-active, self-starter and a good team player • Excellent communication skills and ability to give effective feedback • Excellent attention to detail • A practical understanding of the world of inbound & content marketing • Be easy to work with! Nice to have: • If you’ve designed for and are familiar with, an inbound marketing platform like Hubspot, great.
