Hello.

I'm making a dumb mistake an need assistance.

I want to create a file in /etc/sudoers.d/ called DEV

I want to give this AD group (root) access to restart Tomcat without prompting for password.

I tried this (didn't work):

[root@machine sudoers.d]# cat DEV

%DMN\\AD_GROUP ALL=(root) NOPASSWD: /bin/systemctl ? [login to view URL]

Let´s say you want to allow users bellonging to the group 'DEV' to do some privileged control over apache without giving them root privilege. Add to /etc/sudoers %DEV keep ALL=NOPASSWD: /sbin/service httpd,/etc/i もっと

I think you need to just change some user permissions for this AD group allowing them to restart a specific service.
