Make a script to run on CentOS to extract data from log files

The script needs to run every 15 minutes. It needs to check against a phone system log file for certain events in the last 15 minutes. If it finds any log entries that contain "XYZ", it needs to count the number of lines. This is an incoming scenario. If it finds any log entries that contain "abc", it needs to count the number of these lines. This is an outgoing scenario. Then if either of these scenarios are greater than 0 it needs to send an email via the mail command. To: xyz@[login to view URL] Subject: Phone Error Body: Incoming = 2 Outgoing = 4 A sample log file will be provided. I cannot grant access to this server so you will have to provide the script and instructions for installation. I don't want to install any additional packages of software on the server. The server is running CentOS 7.
