"I understand Objective C and have excellent experience in Swift and can write secure reliable API interface"
Hi,
Before to start with I would like to have few questions that will help me give your accurate timeline:
1) when you say Code is written in Objective C that is quite out of date, when was the last code updated?
2) when you say you need a copy of it converted to Swift using modern API's, does it mean that you want the code to be written from scratch in swift? or do you want to make the existing code functional, handling all the possible failure scenarios.
The functionality can be improved in the existing code as well which will be written completely in swift. Also writing from scratch would also make your code more readable and can be maintained well. It all depends on how big is your module based on which you can decide whether to write from scratch or improve the existing code.
I believe code written in objective C are never an issue, Because still there are lot of libraries available which are in Objective C and code is stable.
Let's connect over chat and have a discussion. May be after that you can decide on whether to assign the work or not.
