I'm looking to hire an Illustrator to Illustrate my book for me, this will be a close relationship as this book is personal to me and is based around a Journal of my lonesome during my last Coma, an adventure into my own mind, the book is Fantasy/Sci-Fi. I'm very particular and this book means a lot to me so I'll be looking for the best artistic fit possible, only enter if you want to work on the entire book and have access to such programs as Skype for communication(I refuse to use email, Instant Messengers only!). Not only will I pay for your time but you will also receive royalties on book sales. Please have a portfolio ready when you apply, if you are new and lack a portfolio then please draw my request below for consideration, those that do draw it will be considered more than those that don't. What I want you to draw is a Doggat, that is a half rat, half dog like creature, it's size is that of a sewer rat and it looks like a Rottweiler(breed of dog) it is frenzying so will be in an attack stance and is stood upon a floorboarded floor, it has a dog like body but short legs, a long hairy tail and a rat like head with long sharp teeth and glowing green eyes, the camera orientation will be that of in front/to the side so each floor board needs to look huge and the furniture in the background as tall as possible to emphasize how small the Doggat is, it is currently in a wizards office (think Harry Potter.. a modern wizard and Ricky Gervais' The Office). Having 8+ years of experience working in games, film, advertisement, book covers, flyers, logo's, etc. The 2d world and that of entertainment has always been something thats been apart of me. Graduating from Full Sail University in Art it would be no surprise that I'd provide top industry quality work and still have room for changes whenever you need them through the pipeline. However unlike most artists here I allow the use of "negotiable's" where the terms and amount of what needs to be paid can be discussed outside the amount of what was signed up for on freelance which could mean it could cost much less to work on. If you'd like to keep an eye on what I'm working on daily or weekly we could also use cloud servers such as "Google Drive" where you will be able to leave comments of what you don't or do like.
