2D animator artist to add layer to a music video

Hi, we are an experimental instrumental hip hop 3 piece (violin, synths and turntables) creating middle eastern /eastern european music. We've completed a single and have shot a high quality video of the 3 of us performing our parts to the song on our instruments which we cut out of cardboard.
We are looking to complete this video with an extra animation element to help tell the story of 4 earthlings who travel into the galaxy but return to earth as only 3. The 4th remaining character will be animated to fit into the galaxy theme and to help the actual video footage make sense ... He is staring down at the 3 musicians performing from above the earth. Possibly using a vinyl record as his floating galaxy hover [login to view URL] image i imagine is similar to a godzilla sized kitten shooting lazers from their eyes at the live action. A little bit lo-fi cardboard cut out style will fit this concept. but an illustrator with a bit of swagger will help nail this.
