Appcelerator Titanium datamatrix (barcode) module/connector

For an urgent project we are looking for a freelancer to develop a Titanium module for us.

The project is an iPhone app involving the scanning of datamatrix codes. For this we need a Titanium module exposing the functionality provided by the QuickMark SDK ([url removed, login to view]) to the Titanium JavaScript API. The QuickMark SDK will take care of scanning the datamatrix codes and is available as an XCode project here: [url removed, login to view] We will take care of the licensing. The module will expose the functionality provided by the QuickMark SDK so we may use it in our Titanium project.

The feature set for the module is actually very basic: we need to be able to scan barcodes directly off the video stream of the iPhone camera. The interface/camera overlay must be customizable in the Titanium project via methods/properties.

- The functionality of our datamatrix scanner will be very similar to that of the "QR Code" app by the company behind QuickMark ([url removed, login to view])

- The TiBar project ([url removed, login to view]) is very similar to what we're looking for. It's a Titanium module exposing the functionality of the ZBar project. The TiBarReaderApp ([url removed, login to view];can=2) (with the following settings: classType: ZBarReaderViewController / sourceType: Camera / cameraMode: Default) is another example of the implementation we're seeking to develop.

Expected scope of delivery:

- source code and compiled version of module written in objective C

- simple Titanium project showing the initialization and handling of the module

We need the deliveries tested not later than friday 2011-08-26!
