I have 55 XML files that already exist with basic placeholder information. I also have a single RTF document with a table in that specifies what text should be inserted into the XML files.
Each XML file has 4 pieces of information to copy and paste: title, body, caption 0 and caption 1. However, simply copying and pasting won't be enough because italics have been used in the RTF, and these must be preserved in the XML by encoding the appropriate rich text tags, for example <i>This would be italics</i>
I've already processed the first 9 rows of 55, so you'll get an idea of what I mean from those. There are only 46 left.
Please see attached files for all content.
Note that in my example of rich text encoding above, the Freelancer.com site interpreted my sample encoding as actual HTML (yikes!).
So italics would need to be encoded in the XML &lt;i&gt;like this&lt;/i&gt;
...if you're familiar with XML and rich text, you'll understand what I mean.
Okay, so Freelancer.com has bungled my second clarification.
Italics should be encoded <i>like this</i>
For a definitive format, please see the sample XML files I've provided: SH_SLR0077.xml has some rich text with italics encoded in the title tag.
