Configure and improve existing UI of open source Java web application

Background: I have an open source app running on my existing Ubuntu server. I'm simply running a jar file provided by the original developers. The app is simply a trip planner, and the minimum user input required are:- - start and end locations - date and time of travel and - transport type - the service returns the most appropriate transit service(s). However, I'd like to customise the UI, so that it is clean, simple and colourful. See Adelaide Trip Planner as an example: [login to view URL] Requirements: Basic Features: - change site title - customise logo and brand name - remove UI elements not needed - add support for additional language (not listed from the default list) - remove those languages not required - switch default map to streetmap mode rather than terrain mode Main Features: - new design of the app UI with similar look and feel to AdelaideMetro web UI - provides a minimal no of windows/screens: - Search query screens - Results summary screen - Detaile results screen - make the site responsive so it works equally well on phones and tablets (in any orientation). The idea here is that I would then build HTML wrapper web-apps for iOS and Android, without needing to do much native code developement for mobile platforms. Additional Features - integrate Google maps as opposed to default Openstreetmap (OSM) Deliverables: Source code and compiled JAR file with all the features implemented. The system is fully tested and free from 'major' bugs. Detailed instructions/documentation on what files needed to be edited if further modifications are to be made, e.g. how to change site title, hoe to customise logo, where the images are to be placed, etc. Source code: [login to view URL] OTP Documentation: [login to view URL] I'm looking for a developer with the following skills and experience: Java/Javascript, Linux, Ubuntu, HTML, CSS, as well as graphic design and appreciation for good UI design and User Experience. Note: I'm not looking for a web site builder or developer who wants to build me the site from scratch. I only need someone to help configure and modify existing code to improve the UI of an existing open source application. If you have experience working with Maps API or public transit will be a definite advantage.
