ARITA - the Australian Restructuring Insolvency and Turnaround Association - is a professional membership body. Our membership comprises accountants, lawyers, lenders and investors, academics and other professionals working in restructuring, insolvency and turnaround. ARITA members are among the most trusted and sought-after professionals working with under-performing businesses and financially challenged individuals.
We’re currently working on the so-called ‘Safe Harbour campaign’.
The term 'Safe Harbour' refers to so-called 'safe harbour laws' that have only recently been introduced in Australia. The new laws have a far-reaching impact on our members, and on their clients - in this case businesses in financial distress.
ARITA has developed a fact sheet as a resource and marketing tool for our members to share directly with their prospect clients.
We’d like to promote this fact sheet to our members through 'internal' advertising (in the ARITA Journal, on our website, on email banners etc), and we need to develop an eye-catching visual concept for this purpose.
We are looking for a recognizable design (one or multiple images or an icons, or both) that we can use on all our Safe Harbour communication and advertising material going forward.

The new ‘Safe Harbour’ laws have only recently been introduced in Australia. They give company directors the opportunity to restructure their financially troubled business outside of a formal insolvency appointment with safeguards against its potential exploitation. The new laws protect directors insofar as they give them a 'safe harbour' from the risk to be held personally liable for insolvent trading if the company is undertaking a restructure.
Going forward, we are planning more communication and advertising explaining the new Safe Harbour laws and our members’ role in giving qualified legal and financial advice (via internal and external advertising and media).
What we need from you:
We'd like to kick it off with 3 to 5 visual concepts that stand out from our usual corporate design and look & feel, incorporating the following title and subtitle:

How to protect yourself if your business is in financial distress.'
Play with the ‘The Safest Harbour’ theme.
