Hey, I have a better idea! Why don't you instead make a website where you SELL your services to companies to post groupons for them on GROUPON?? How much money do you think Groupon took to make it's first version of it's website? I can't imagine it taking less than $100,000. What makes you think that any developer in their right mind would ever do this for $1500?? It can be done, of course, but why would you do that? The site would have to have an end-user portal and a vendor portal, and you would have to be able to take credit card payments, hold the funds until the deal is used, and then disperse the funds to the vendor when the customer uses the deal with the vendor. That kind of system would cost a lot more to implement, and if the freelancer is providing all of the infrastructure for this site, then they would have to have a payment processing partner.
