Hi, My name is Mehmet. I am a day&swing trader. I would like to express my interest in this job. I am a short-biased trader. I only trade stocks and, sometimes, ETFs. (no futures, sorry about that) On the short side, my most favorite plays are those pharmaceutical companies that come up with Phase I and Phase II news - most fizzle all day long after short-lived morning pops. And any company that lowers its outlook - they are just great shorts. On the long side, my most favorite time is earnings season. When they exceed expectations, mid-cap companies climb steadily (and the next couple of days are usually green as well - swing idea) and give stress-free trades. Overall, I go through the news in premarket, check the actives ones and see what is driving them, create my watchlist, wait for the bell and go from there. Though I like the bear market more as a short-biased trader, bull or bear is not much of a concern for me because I usually go with alpha stocks that move on their own, due to a catalyst or sometimes for no reason, regardless how the rest of the market is doing.I do have some questions for you.
