I am writing a travel guide to a region of Maine, which will be published next spring by an important Maine publisher. I need a series of maps showing the features described in the text. I am an experienced mapmaker myself, but don't have a license for ArcGIS for this use (only at work). I can make mock-ups for you to work from and know where to get local shapefiles with which to build the map. The maps are relatively simple, showing coastline, major roads, major town names, location of features from the text, and little else. There are between 15 and 20 maps.
If you have an ESRI license to produce maps for publication or are expert with other mapping software, I'd be happy to provide more detail about the project.
