Hi Eileen,
I had spent a few years handling a recruitment unit, and can think of quite a few things that can make the life of a recruiter easy w.r.t this sheet. Besides the drop downs and automated dates here are a few thoughts
1> Followup Dates: Each line item has a followup date (either with a candidate or with the business which is recruiting) Everyday a report can be generated at the push of a button to extract all those line items where a followup is required
2> Candidate status: Each candidate moved in the pipeline from resume received, to screened, resume sent to client, interview completed, rejected/offer made/on-hold, offer accepted. Reports can also be generated to find count of candidates in each status
3> conversion reporting; with the right base data, automated reports could tell you how many candidates were required to fill in each positions
4> Direct email from Excel: Standard templates can be created to that a mail can be sent to the candidate from the excel sheet itself rather than going to your mailbox to create mail
I have multiple such ideas which I have implemented in the past, and will be happy to discuss this with you.
I have over 15 years of creating customized excel based solutions for companies like Dupont, Accenture, Walmart, Sams Club to name a few.
My charges are aligned to the quality of work. Ofcourse you can try some of the $15 bidders o you can msg me and I will be glad to address any queries or concerns.
Regards
Amin
