I run a small shop that makes clothing on site, we sell off the shelf but also take custom orders for people.
I am looking to build a workbook that will allow me to use a form to fill in new customers orders including name, date taken, date due( calculated to 6weeks after date taken), address, items ordered, custom alterations to their size (its a clothing business), phone number, what stage we have the garment at, where the garment is located, how much they owe, and if we need to order anything to complete the order(such as fabrics).
I would like this to be put into two separate workbooks so that all past and completed orders are stored in one and the other are current orders that we are working on. Once the order is complete and we change the order status to "completed" I want the order to be removed from the current workbook and added to the second one that features all past orders ( if possible)
From this I would need to have an additional sheet that would give me information on what the current orders are doing, such as how many are in cutting stage, total amount owed currently. Also depending on each days date if it could prompt me to do certain jobs, such as after two weeks of the date of an order taken if it could let me know that and prompt me to update that client via text.
I have begun work on this but continue to run out of time, the attempted workbook is attached below.
