Access 2007 sort out the ability for a user to select a supplier from another table of data and add into a single field of a purchase order
Please provide a written instruction as to how we can do this we CANNOT send out the database due to data protection
We have a form called frm SubContractors, linked to a query qrySubcontractors, linked to a table called SubContractors. This is used to store all suppliers.
We want for our purchase order screen to pick up this data so that a user can put in a supplier rather than type it in each time
Field names
• Contact
• Address1
• Address2
• Address3
• City
• County
• Postcode
Note there is also a field in the table called lbStatus (pink one above) we do not want anyone with “Do Not Use” to be picked up
We then have a purchase order screen
We want this data to shown in a combobox on a form called frmPOVOFormView, linked to a query called qryPOVO, linked to a table called tblPOVO so the user can select a supplier (expect those with lbStatus is not Do Not Use) and then name and address fields appear in this one box and saved in the table, the field the data is to be concatenated and stored in ultimately is called Supplier in the table
