I have done a writing-to-text transcription project before for a client named HavCon. He gave me a task that involved transcribing just one page and considering how I was able to transcribe it completely at one attempt he was happy enough to pay me 30 AUD for it. Still if you wish to test me out do go ahead. I will only do for one page though and no more. Anything more than that and you will have to pay me for my time. If you hire me I will make sure to commit 8-10 hours every day working for you. I will even make sure to adjust my working/waking hours to match yours as well if you prefer. Of course given that this is an hourly contract job I will use the desktop app and activate the timetracker so that not only will my work be clocked but screenshots of my desktop will be taken regularly to ensure that I remain committed and that I will not be wasting time or subcontracting my work to anyone else. I am an independent freelancer so unlike the agencies with their constant influx of new hires the quality of my work is always assured. In fact the quality of my work will always be improving the more I'll get used to doing the tasks you assign to me throughout the duration of this project. Alternatively would you consider hiring me on a milestone basis as well? That way we can specify payments for each tasks (transcription, final edit, Powerpoint conversion, etc).
