Temperature sensor using Multimode Optical Fiber

The design and Development of a Temperature sensor using Multimode Optical Fiberis Presented. The sensor shows a linear response between Voltage and Temperature with a Sensitivity of 0.0735 volt per Degree Celsius. Most of the Temperature Measurement tasks are carried out using Conventional Electric Temperature Sensors, but with Limitations , particularly under harsh conditions , fiberoptic Temperature show their advantages that they are immune to EMI (Electromagnetic Interference) and andCompatible with high Voltage ,high R-F (Radio Frequency ) and high Magnetic field Environments
