Hello, I am interested in your project. I am not quite sure about device you need - is it timer that switches off 12 V power to other device after random time? Do you need just a prototype for your own use or design a PCB for making multiple such devices? Best regards and let me know some more details about your device.

Hi. Interesting project.   I would like to know so you will use the 12 volt output. This is to know if I need to use a relay or a dry contact output. Simple project, all you need is an arduino or esp32. The cheapest one is okay because you only need one Output pin for the relay (12V output) and one Timer to count the time. I can finish this fast and I can test the code with my own module (Arduino Nano)

I've done a personal project similar to this in the past. In that project, I used the random frequency drift of a 555-timer chip to generate a truly random number which I then used to pick a random delay, after which the microcontroller was to take some action. I believe I could easily adapt it for your particular needs. I'd first need to get a better idea of your requirements. For example, are you wanting to make the 12V available to power some other device, and if so, what physical connector do you need to make that power available? As, do you just need the design, or do you want the finished product sent to you? As far as cost goes, I'm happy to take the low end of the budget, even if I incur some costs in the manufacture and shipping, as long as I'm still making some small amount. I like doing this kind of work, so I'm not too worried about how much I'm paid. As for the delivery time, I've left it at the default 10 days, but I think I can get that down to as little as one day if you're in a hurry and just need the design. I'll send you the code for an Arduino. You can load the code to an Arduino. Once the Arduino is plugged to a 12V power supply, it'll randomly send 0 and 5 volts to an output port. You can connect the output port to a relay to turn your device on and off. The code will use Arduino function random() and randomSeed() to generate the SAME sequence of random numbers every time the Arduino is connect to the 12V power supply. I'm willing to do the project for 150 AUD (I can't enter a bid less than your minimum).
