CHEMISTRY PROBLEM: I need to have the following electrolytes in the following millimolar quantities in 1 liter of water: Potassium 4 mM/L Calcium 0.9 mM/L Magnesium 1 mM/L ...by using the following chemicals: - KCl (2mEq/ml, which I think is 150mg/ml) Molarity: 4 mOsm/mL - CaCl2 (100mg/ml) CaCl2 Molarity: 2.04 mOsm/mL - MgCl2 (200mg/ml) MgCl2 Molarity: 2.95 mOsm/mL The question is how much of each chemical do I need, and what is the total osmolarity of the resulting solution? Please include your math so I can see how you did it.
