SEO and Link popularity boost for direct response website

I am in need of a SE optimization for one of my direct response websites. I also want to build link popularity to this site. I am willing to offer whoever takes this job (providing the price is right) the option of becoming an affiliate of my site and using their affiliate link for all the incoming links, the more you get, the more you make. I currently pay 50% commissions, which means at least $33.50 in commissions per sale. My sales letter converts very well, I just want to get it ranked higher in the search engines.
