I have worked as a freelancer electrical estimator and quantity surveying My duties as an electrical estimator are: 1- Analyze blueprints, construction drawings, specifications and other documentation to extract the suitable bid that is possibly can be bid. 2- Collect statistical data of an on-screen takeoff of the electrical equipment, lighting, power, mechanical power/HVAC power, fire alarm, access control/IDS, data/voice...etc in the work site, wires, conduits length needed using Planswift. 3- Prepare spreadsheets for accurate quantity estimates referring to the specifications, cost estimates and time scheduling estimation. 4- Monitor and check out the estimates with actual cost data. 5- Compile tender request material sheets and send to suppliers / subcontractors. 6- Coordination with the Security Manager, Senior Estimator and Sales to ensure accuracy of quotes. 7- Able to make a fast estimation of the works that are not provided by the designer. 8- Able to work as part of a team and exhibit strong professionalism. 9- Able to work full time commitment.
