Fixing corrupted .dat file

I've recently had to reformat my computer without being able to backup a .dat file. After the format I managed to recover that file but it has become corrupted. Need help in fixing a corrupted .dat file.

The corrupted .dat file is for syndicate coin. A friend of mine tried using it with pywallet but to no avail.
