Compile data for a Treatment Center, Health Care

I have a small business where I provide billing and collections to treatment centers for in-patient and out-patient facilities. I need to compile data where I can track admits, discharges, categories of discharges, i.e completed program or AMA. Also need to track level of care days. (i.e detox, residential, intensive outpatient) Also provide a quarterly report of how many patients who were Insurance only vs cash pay. Would also like to provide average payment reimbursement from insurance companies for cost containment. I have most of my data on a excel spread sheet, where I need to transfer to charted data. Any help and insight and training is greatly appreciated. Attached is my billing log and census reporting. Please e-mail me if you have an interest in helping me. The very first thing I would do is clearly define the problem or objective so I have a solid direction. Second, I would explore the data and become more familiar with it. This is extremely critical especially if I am working with a new set of data. Next, I would prepare the data for modeling. This entails data validation, detecting outliers, treating missing values, etc. With those steps completed, I would begin modeling the data until I discover the most significant or valuable results. Lastly, I would implement the model and track my results. As I'm sure you are aware, this process could vary slightly based upon the type of problem and the data and tools available
