I need to create a standard along windows 10 service. It has no UI. Alternate option will be a DLL.
Upon request, you need to sync current note onto microsoft onenote server. The format will be discussed later.
You need to find out if current user has logged onto microsoft account. if yes, get the token. if not, pop up edge and redirect to microsoft loggon page, until user logged on.
There will be 3 major format that need to be added into the note.
This 3 formats can be put into 1 note page.
1. ink strokes (format can be disscussed)
2. svg
3. pictures (format can be disscussed)
The application should have as less supporting DLLs / platform as possible. The target machine may only have windows 10 installed. MFC DLLs are allowed, but better no .net.
The idea programming language will be C++, using pure http post and get to archive the goal.
Source code and brief documentation are needed when delivered.
Hello
I'm interesting your project very well
I'm a Good expert of C++, MFC, Java, .NET, C#, Math, Algorithm.
I m quite well experienced in these jobs.
Let's go ahead with me
I want to service for you continously.
Thanks
I have questions:
- the trigger would be happened when user open Office OneNote apps, so then it will immediately check if user still have the authorization for server logon?
- no button trigger for initiating the synchronizing with server?
- why dont you consider to create an add-in which will present an office ribbon on Office OneNote apps for presenting a button for sync?
Yes, using .NET would be easier, but I am OK using Visual C++. Let me know if you OK with my offer and please response my questions
Why did you want to use c++ with dependencies that does NOT ship with windows 10 instead of usage .net that already SHIPPED with windows 10?
Please clarify task.
How ink, svg etc will be appear to send to onenote?
How it will looks like for setup?
Will user choose onenote notebook/section etc?
How new note will be created? Each time new? Or some other rule?
Also please clarify how did you want to this notes will uploaded?
Via rest api or will it be created in local onenote and uploaded with onenote own mechanics?
Dear Sir,
I'm writing in response to your task post. As Senior Level software Engineer with more than ten years of experience in C++,C# I would bring a high quality and focused mindset to this job.
I have experience in projects like this as I have created one before to synchronize google calendar events. Also I have created Windows Services before.
If I'm chosen I offer high quality software following known coding standards, and conventions.
Also I can deliver a small prototype or sample containing some important features so you can validate the product step by step.
Sincerely,
Mina
