The project aims to design a golf simulator for home use. The player will hit the ball with his golf club, consequently, the ball will fly and hit the wall in front. The maximum distance from ball start point to the wall will be 8feet. The ball has to be tracked for a part of its time of flight and its trajectory has to be estimated. The estimated trajectory has to be passed to golf course scene over sockets. (The golf scene design isnt a part of this project's scope).

So the objective of the project is to track golf ball in a closed arena using overhead/side-mounted cameras and computer vision techniques and estimate its trajectory. The system is to be developed for Windows OS(7+).
