Hi There, Is your only concern is that when file is deleted it should not be recoverable by any recovery software? Your logic of overwriting is good but there are software that can recover the data fragments. As a thought may be we need to just reset the bits at the hardware/disk level? Hello, It looks like an scheduler script which deletes the file after certain interval. This kind of code generally do not require secure code review (finding weakness that can be exploited by others) to be performed, but if you looking security from business logic perspective, for deleting the file properly, we should have a chat and discuss the specific. Hi, Are you using any utility to overwrite the files? Usually 3 passes are enough to ensure that file can not be recovered.
