I would like to hire a Coder

HI I am new to PowerBI, but have my sales data imported and setup my Date Dimension. I am trying to set up two measures for inclusion in a matrix, which has Month and Year slicers. The two measures are Previous year sales quantity to date, and Moving Annual Total. I keep getting Dateadd does work with non contiguous date errors, despite trying the various promised fixes that I have found on line. I am starting out with PowerBI and am looking for someone who can fix these measures and moving forward assist with getting PowerBI fully up and running.
