I need a simple DLL that, when called with certain parameters, will put up on the screen a line of text. This should be a quick project (no user interface needed) and easy for a competent programmer. IMPORTANT AND UNUSUAL - Please read carefully... Please note that the text must be borderless when it displays on the screen. To clarify, the DLL must display the text 'on top' WITHOUT any background, border etc.... simply the text (any background would have to be transparent). If there are no windows open, then it should display this text on the 'desktop' itself. This DLL will be 'sent a message' each time with the following parameters: 1. Actual single line of text 2. How long it should display the line of text in milliseconds (range of 1-1000) 3. The font used 4. The font size 5. The color of the text 6. Where on the screen it should display the line of text (perhaps a simple x,y coorrdinate system?) A small demo routine as a standalone exe will need to be supplied. And its clearly documented code showing how the DLL is called. A clear explanation as to generally how the DLL is 'called' from another program must be supplied. The DLL can be written in whatever you like, but clearly documented code must be supplied, The copyright of the script to be mine. Please let me know if any of this is unclear.
