Hi :-) I am a medical doctor with 5 intense years of clinical experience, now doing my PhD at QUT, Brisbane (cancer modelling and regenerative medicine). My academic and work experiences (in far-flung remote villages, and bustling cosmopolitan cities of India) have helped hone my communication skills, especially writing content, a skill I believe is an absolute prerequisite for this job. As part of healthcare practice & research, writing medical and healthcare content is practically 2nd nature now. But it isn't just about being a good communicator in my field. I am an avid reader and writer since childhood. I have written essays, articles, radio talks, blogs, op-eds etc on myriad topics like politics, philosophy, spirituality and well-being, religion and atheism, psychology underlining mythology, inspiring leaders in history, Indian history and plenty more. In between work and studies, I have taken care to indulge in this passion of mine a bit to keep it alive. SO when I came across this job posting, promising such freedom to my pen (or keyboard, as it is these days), I had a big, wide grin on my face (actually still do). I do have a pretty good command on English ( IELTS 8.0 ), and love coming up with engrossing and succinct content. And last, but in no way the least, I have a passion and flair for the English language. I hope I have been persuasive enough :-) Let me know if I can be of service. Thanks!
