Visual Basic .Net migration

I have a standalone desktop program in Visual Basic 6 that makes use of DAO library to access a backend MS-Access 2000 database. I need to migrate this application to ADO library to be able to directly work on a backend Oracle database through ODBC as well as fix some bugs. Anybody up for it? If time and money permits or VB.Net is what you are comfortable with - we can move to VB.Net also. Pls only serious candidates who are experienced coding in Visual Basic remote data access bid. 45 days max time.
