Hello I am trying to connect my mobile applicaton (Ionic/Angular) to an API. ([login to view URL]) This is what I’m using now: $http({ method: 'GET', url: '[login to view URL]', headers: { 'Authorization': 'Basic VXJHb2xmUHJvOkBVckdvbGZQcm8m', 'Content-Type': 'application/json' } }).success(function (response) { $[login to view URL] = response; }) And this is is the error I get: XMLHttpRequest cannot load [login to view URL] Response for preflight has invalid HTTP status code 401 We've been told: This is a cross-origin (CORS) issue. The custom headers cause the browser to issue a preflight OPTIONS request. Unfortunately, the OPTIONS method isn't supported by the server. The resulting error prevents the browser from issuing the GET request. Is this something that you could fix? Xavi

Hello, First of all HTTP code 401 means this issue is not related to CORS. This error can be seen if you are not authorized to access that API. For CORS, you you have to allow multiple domain at your server(in API) or at least your domain which you are trying to access. I have fixed these type of issue but you did not specify exact issue. Hello Sir, I can help you in this. I am developing an app in Cordova 6 + Onsen UI and I had experienced the same issue. The new version of cordova has a Whitelist plugin which need to be configured properly in order to get ajax response correctly. Hoping to hear from you soon. Hi, Your problem is not that big, as long as you have full control of your server, it's easy, I'll fix it for very cheap (basically for a good recommandation :D).
