Sir,
It is with great anticipation that I present my candidacy for this project. In addition to earning my translation degree through my country’s Department of National Defense (Canada), I currently serve as a Marine Electrician above being a drafter technologist and am offering proofreading and editing services as well as flirting with a few transcription projects every now and then.
As a translator, I have had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of clients, military and civilian. I improved my skills as a translator from these several experiences over the last 15 years in this exciting field. My expertise varies from translating the following fields: Advertizing, buildings, business administration and management, business general, business marketing, child care, culinary arts, electrical engineering, education, ethnic and cultural studies, film and cinema studies, gaming, health, history, hospitality, law, literature, medicine (general), military, music, music history and literature, telecommunications, theatre, tourism and travel, transportation…
One of my greatest strength as a translator is being versatile. I can adapt rapidly to a new translating environment. My translations are absolutely not machine made as I translate manually. I can deliver around 3500 words daily, only because I’m translating on a part time basis.
Sincerely,
Martin Michaud
