Auction Website/Clone Design

We are currently in need of some assistance to design a new website and redesign an old one. This project will be split into easy to manage sections and this will also be reflected in payment method and timings. We have looked at similar sites to that which we are hoping to achieve, [login to view URL], [login to view URL] and also Bidz.com. The project will be as follows: 1. Design or Clone site as above and provide design and graphics to ensure the site has the correct look and feel. We are not designers and will therefore require to present ideas and suggestion and hope that you can translate into a nice look. Security of the site is paramount and we must be able to test this in every possible way. Also we must be able to very easily upload images to the front page and make the necessary updates on an auction site. If we can we would like to be starting 4/10 auction every 15 minutes for 16 hours of the day. A good content management system is a must. We will take the shop fronts out and go for categories which can have featured items on front page, we must be able to amend the categories on front page very easily. we also want a moving banner display where we can show specials [login to view URL] to most on e bay shops with easy content [login to view URL] promotional banners will be necessary however the site must be "found" by search engines. 3. SEO the redesigned site needs work on links and meta tags and web promotion this should be looked at on basis of now and regular updates with monthly fee. 4. we will need to be constantly updating contents pictures for auctions etc and may also outsource this task. At first we will control but may ask for a monthly fee to do this work also. 5. Hosting we will require to find new hosting for the auction site, recommendations on system will need to be compatable. Also we will need a cost for moving www.shoppingatmainstreet.com. All of the above will require a small outline of how you intend to carry out the work timescales and costs of course. A detailed project breif will be required after we have decided to award project. Please do not bid if you cannot fulfill all the obligations and you are not prepared to provide some info on how you will proceed, yes I can do work will not be acceptable. Payment will be by GAF escrow, we will however be prepared to make payment on each of the completed parts and if this is a consideration you must be able to split your total price down into the relevant sections. We are prepared to make some changes to the section in line with your working methodology.
