Hi, I have worked with PowerShell and Active Directory at length for the past 2 years. This includes account expiry and password expiry scripts. Your request is quite straightforward and will be delivered within 5 days. The script you require can either be written on a server with the Active Directory PowerShell module installed, or written as an LDAP query (and hence able to run on any Windows Server). Your preference needs to be made clear at the start of the project. Then you need to decide how users are emailed (e.g. start when their account is 10 day away from expiration, and email them once a day). The running of the script will be handled by setting up a scheduled task in Windows; I will include instructions with screenshots as part of the deliverable. Deliverables: - PowerShell script that checks for Active Directory accounts expiring in less than a given number of days (e.g. 10). The users are then emailed warning that their account is about to expire. - Script installation instructions, including Scheduled Task installation instructions with screenshots. Requirements before commencement: - Decision whether the Active Directory module will be used, or LDAP query - Email template Finally, there are some additional capabilities that could potentially be built into the script (such as logging to a file, emailing the line manager, etc).
