Build a Website

This project is the first phase of a bigger project that will continue later. In this phase I need the front end of a website designed and implemented. In order to focus juts on the web pages, for the backend you are expected to write mocks in Java technology without implementing any business logic or database integration. A different project may be awarded for backend. You will be provided high level user requirements which you are expected to convert to a good looking and user friendly web pages. During this project, first milestone will be a freeze on design (after review) and then second (and last) for implementation of those web pages using mocks as backend. Please share samples (preferably something online) of related work to support design and coding skills in your proposal. The website will compose of mainly 2 pages - 1. Welcome page (beautiful and still neat) - where users will be able to 'login', 'sign-in' or 'view sample' (of the second page) 2. Main page - Meant mainly for data input/upload(csv), comparison and charting. Data will be filtered on 3-4 fields, similar to a e commerce website, including a filter for time range of data and source item. Data will be grouped by source (main filter), category and fields. Each field will have an upper and lower acceptable limit. Data points for all time periods will be highlighted in different color if outside of this range. At end if project you will be expected to deliver code and a war file that can be deployed in a tomcat servlet container for testing.
