Build a Custom Online Store

Current Website Our current website, [login to view URL] is several years old and does not serve us well anymore. It is run through OpenCart, and the design is outdated, and while it does have a mobile responsive design it too is outdated. Our navigation is clunky, not at all intuitive, and has duplicate categories. Not only do our customers have issues finding products and info on the website, our own employees have a hard time. Overall, it lacks a clear path for our visitors to follow to find what they want and buy our products. On the back-end of our website we lack a competent CMS system to track inventory, orders, and customers, as well as accounting integration. New Website Objectives Better search engine optimization, user friendly site & well organized content, call to actions implemented (IE “Buy Now” instead of “Add to Cart”) Allow customers access to track their orders, handle warranty & returns easily. Currently our system is supposed to send out tracking information via an email but it does not always work Better CMS (content management system) & Better back-end management systems for our employees New Website Functionality Requirements Our new website will need: Back End An easy-to-use content management system (CMS) Ordering POS System One Page Checkout Billing & Invoicing Integration with Ebay through M2E extension which is already installed. Need to add our current Ebay product template can be imported. Wholesale bulk/fast order Sales person tracking extension Login integration with our Help desk through Kayako Accounting management: Ability to track unpaid orders easily, and notify customers Track orders from distributors and easily apply early payment discount as needed. Front End Clean, responsive design with Intuitive navigation Websites similar to our business with designs we like Most similar to our own company: [login to view URL] [login to view URL] Categories & product pages optimized with SEO Social media integration (share buttons, follow buttons, etc.) Ecommerce Details +We currently sell about 800 different products on our online store, but we also sell products through Ebay Auctions & Buy it Now, and have recently expanded a small product line to Amazon. +We would like the ability to filter these products by their categories as well as applications such as Automotive, Off Road, and Marine. One area I am concerned with is that products would be in a few categories so we don’t want them to show up as duplicate content. +Payment types taken: major credit cards, PayPal, invoiced/billed/credit terms What we need: 1. Once we have our extension developer install the extensions we need we need someone to ensure that everything is working properly and together. 2. After extensions are installed we will someone need to set up & install the theme we choose. I have included a more detailed file in the attachments. If after 15 days, we are not satisfied with the custom site, we will go back to using the Magento platform with extensions, for the milestone 1 payment price.
