Hey there - my name is Michael. I run VIVID based in Jacksonville, Florida. I'm not 100% sure we'll be in your budget, but we will likely be a good fit otherwise. We've built systems for Volkswagen, Castrol and Ford, as well as cool things for startups. I'd love to talk details and see if there might be a realistic fit here. As you likely know, with Freelancer, 90% of the bidders are Indian or overseas. I get that they're cheaper. I don't know how much you've worked with overseas companies though, you may find you lose more money due to time lost, bad product, fixing product... a lot of stuff just seems to go wrong. I may be able to help you avoid some of those pitfalls.

Your project sounds incredibly interesting and I would love to hear more about it. I am willing to sign a NDA. I am also happy to adjust the bid when I know more about the project. Frankly, I'm not a typical software freelancer that just codes to spec and turns it in (although, I am perfectly capable of that). I am an entrepreneur with a Computer Science degree and have been a web developer in the Boulder, CO startup community for 3 years. I am extremely passionate about whichever company I am with, the product, and, dare I say it, "changing the world", to quote the great Bill Bye. I even started my own company with some friends in 2013, which has since failed and been shut down. Currently I am an engineer at a company called "PivotDesk" where I make major back-end architecture decisions and implement/manage various features and projects.
