In this project you will design a HEV, based on the Toyota Prius power train configuration i.e. series/parallel configuration implemented using planetary gear set and a final reduction gear. The designed vehicle must meet certain performance criteria. Your design should include (these are the results of your design)  Selecting and sizing the fuel converter  Selecting and sizing the energy storage unit  Selecting and sizing the electric motor/generator  Designing the number of teeth on the planetary gear set Check your design using ADVISOR. Use the UDDS drive cycle for running the tests on the vehicle and make sure your design meets the performance criteria. The final project report should include the abstract, introduction, main body, and conclusions. The design procedure and the simulation results make up the main body of your report.
