Bypassing hackshield ethically.

A group of me and my colleagues have been tasked with reverse engineering an AhnLab hackshield that is several versions behind the current, using code in c++ we have to create a dll that can manipulate the hackshield allowing 3rd party programs i.e cheat engine, etc to go undetected. Whats required is programming skill and the ability to reverse engineer. Further details can be given.
