If I understand the project correctly, you want to modify you existing android application so that it can point to different environments depending on how it was built? It points to live currently but you also want to be able to build versions of the application to point to your demo environment? I'm currently the mobile developer for both android and iOS versions of a mass market app in the UK & Ireland.
