We are a manufacturer of LED Signs. We require a "Software Application" to be made, to receive message strings that is outputted from a third party program via a Com Port, to this new "Software Application".
The Software application will than direct this message string to 1 of 20 LED Signs via TCP/IP. We have a SDK for the LED Sign Software which will assist in developing this "Software Application".
The third party program has the ability to send messages to either 1 or 100 LED Signs via assigning a Com Port within the third party software. So when the third party program user chooses to send a message to LED Signs 3, 7, 24 & 26, a message will be sent within the third party program via the appropriate assigned Com Ports, to this new "Software Application" which than sends the message/s to the assigned IP of the LED Signs.
The new "Software Application" is to operate without using a third party virtual com port program that links the "third party program" to the "Software Application". The new "Software Application" must have the ability to add inbuilt Com Ports with the ability to assign each Com Port to a designated IP.

Below are some features that the Software Application must have -
> unlimited - Inbuilt Com Ports up to 200 ports.
> Not reliant on any third party com port communication software
> Ability to set up LED Screen parameters when adding a new LED Sign
> Ability to send custom test messages to ensure that the software application is communicating with any one of the assigned LED Signs
> Ability to add predefined clearing functions to clear messages on the assigned LED Signs, such as 1. clearing messages from the LED Sign prior to sending a new message; clearing messages from the LED sign after a certain given time from when the message was received and displayed; or not clearing messages until either a certain given time or until a given total number of messages have been received.
> the ability to change the input format of the message string received, to accommodate the ability to make this "Software Application" flexible to communicate with other third party programs that output message strings in different protocol formats.
DEADLINE - This software application can be a work in progress for a period of up to 30 days, but the basic software application needs to be operational before the 8th of February.
