delete bookmark in IE and FF and replace it with correct one

I need a script to delete a bookmark in IE and FF and to replace it with another one. It can be an .exe file. it needs to delete a particular bookmark in IE and FF, i only have the first part of the bookmark. we have a Load Balancing server that users connected to, got redirected to a server then bookmarked the direct connection. this is overloading the servers. I need to have a script run that will delete that bookmark out of IE and FF and then replace it with the bookmark of the LB server. this is for windows XP
