Hello, good specification, but need some more clarification: You can use only one raspberry pi. It has anough pins, and controlling not hard for CPU. What kind of magnetic switches you wil use (what pins will be used, maybe need arduino). Any way I can do this on one raspberry pi, or on both raspberry pi + arduino. Something not full in specification: power outlet B newer switch on.

Hi, I am perfect for this job. And I have both RPi and Arduino in my lab and I can quickly prototype this project and give demo to you. As long as you have the distance between switches, outlets and RPi is not very long then Arduino is not required. I can make a custom board and you can plug RPi to this custom board. I have already designed a system using Arduino and Pi linked via USB, the project involved using NFC cards to determine which of four video files and four different lighting schemes is to be selected. The Pi provides the ability to store and play video - audio files, one arduino is configured as a NFC card reader and one is configured as a DMC lighting scheme driver. We have carried out several Arduino based schemes using purpose designed PCBs, Arduino shields such as GSM and TFT touch screen, measuring analog signals and driving indicators, fuel pumps and relay and SSR outputs.

I believe with some simple electronics ( logic converter for relays etc) this project can be done with only raspberry pi B plus, switches and relays can be connected directly to pi. I must know the video quality and why audio is output to standart output not via hdmi ? It would be practically better that video stay on sd card. I have both raspberry pi + and i can test project here. I can provide you all details for your future modification.
