I have worked as a Network Engineer and have converted 4 Exchange 2003 Servers to Office 365. I also worked on 1 Exchange 2000 to 20003 migration. Plus I did 4 Windows Small Business Servers that were running integrated Exchange to newer version. My first Exchange project was to introduce Exchange 2010 from a POP3 server in 2011. My most recent Exchange project involved an Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2013 migration for over 1700 users. This one took some time to do. Once it was done since I knew the most about Exchange I was the default Exchange Admin. How many users are you moving from one domain to another? My most recent paid job was working as part of the infrastructure team as a network administrator. I was working with restructuring AD and backups and Exchange. They were running Windows 2003 domain servers and I raised it to Windows Server 2012 but domain level 2008 R2. Let me know more about this and I will work up a better detail.
