Develop a program to monitor financial records

I need a program/format on an existing computer program/new process to monitor gross profit & receivables each month, as efficiently as possible. Currently I am having to track information in 3 places at least, as money comes in, which is at any given time, during the month, and it very inefficient. I have Excel, Quickbooks, and possibly some other Microsoft programs that may be of help, but do not know how to put them to the best use for my purpose. ## Deliverables 1) I currently have too many things to monitor and need a more efficient system of monitoring financial records. 2) By the coder creating a system on an existing program, or a new program, I will be able to keep track of financials as they occur (sometimes daily) in one easy step, and it will be reconciled for me on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. 3)The exclusions for this project are listed in the bulleted list below: - any transactions NOT directly related to income (which includes credit card transactions and checks received by mail.) 4)These assumptions are listed to ensure that all parties understand what assumptions the team has made in order to create the proposal:… - The coder will work with the programs already on my computer, first. - Second, IF necessary, the coder will create a new process using a program/programs already on my computer. - Third, ONLY if it is not reasonably possible to use the programs already on my computer, and with approval from me first, the coder may use a program not currently on my computer, and I will then purchase the necessary program. - The coder will fill out a confidentiality agreement, if it becomes necessary for him/her to view any actual financial numbers of my company. - The coder will work as efficiently as possible and not dawdle unnecessarily on completing the work. - The coder will work from his own location, if possible, then transfer the program to my computer. 5) Constraints: - This project must be completed within a reasonable amount of time from when it is begun - preferably seven days. 6) Benefits: - Upon successful completion of this project, coder will be considered for 2 additional, similar projects. - This project should be simple and fun for the appropriate coder. 7) Risks: I do not believe there are any risks associated with this project as long as the coder does everything properly. Otherwise, risks include loss of personal & business information on my end, not the coder's. 8) Coder should provide at least 2 satisfied past clients who have had similar projects done by them. ## Platform Program needs to run on Windows XP. If internet access is necessary to complete the final process of reconciling financial information, it also needs to be able to run using Internet Explorer.
