Need a simple program that will reside in Windows System Tray. The utility will function similar to Windows Scheduled Task Manager, in that a user can specify a shut down time (and applicable days of the week). The tricky part will be the auto power-on. In addition to specifing the shut down time the user will also be able to specify the start up time. Note this is not from sleep mode, this is a start up from a complete system shut down.
For example, the user could specifiy that the system will shut down each day at 2:30am, and then restart again at 3:30am.
You can see an available Windows product with this functionality here:

Would like very efficient, compact program. Doesn't need a lot of bells and whistles other than being able to specify the shut down days and times. (Radio buttons will be fine to indicate days of the week where shut down is required).

I have had a lot of questions on this bid. All of them ask the same thing. This is a power-on from a complete shut-down (not standby or hibernate). I know it is possible because this software works. D/L it for yourself and try it out. Somehow this company has figured out how to do this:

They have a free 30 day evaluation, so you can install it and see how it works.
Thanks.
