Company website w/ blog

We need a well designed, super search engine friendly, company website. We already have a logo but need a 20 html page website with an animated gif on the home page. Our company recently changed it's name so most of the content for the new site can be lifted from our current site that has about 10 pages. We'd also like to have a blog (maybe through wordpress) that is seamlessly integrated into the site. Navigation to different areas of the website from the blog should be simple. Also, we will publish a monthly newsletter that we'd like archived on the website. This may be through a link to a third party like Constant Contact but we'd prefer the archive to be located on our domain. Also, while design is important, we need each page to be optimized for the search engines. Please provide sample websites that you have worked on and explain your experience with SEO. Our business provides home care for the elderly by sending compassionate caregivers into their home. Most of our website visitors will be middle aged women searching for help for one of their parents so the website designer needs to keep this in mind when deciding on graphics, colors, layout, etc. Lastly, no templates...we'd like a unique design that outclasses our competitors.
