Web 2.0 Chinese product trading site (similar to auction sites such as Taobao and Ebay) that allows users to list items for sale or to purchase. o Build using PHP/MySQL/AJAX or with Joomla/Drupal. o Developer able to develop both backend and frontend. Design experience preferred. o Backend CMS should be independent of frontend and transferable for development of other sites. o Use AJAX functionality. Site must be designed with web 2.0 style/functions in mind. o Code must be well commented. o Developer able to communicate in English and Mandarin Chinese. o Pages must indexed by search engines. Using apache rewrite/etc. o Site need to function well under high traffic. No un-necessary code. o Registration and user information must be secure. o Must have administration area for site management. Features: o Search/browse items by location, brand, price, etc. o Sort by search/browse results by price, date, location, etc. o Make offer and counter-offer prices for products o Product display page with description, photos, purchase options, etc. o Ability for user feedback on sellers/buyers o User profile with messaging capabilities, ability to favorite items, sell/buy history, upload for sale/wanted items, etc. o Ability to favorite items o Ability to upgrade to paying membership o Advertising space for banners and full background takeovers Full specifications and directions will be available after developer agree to and sign NDA.
