Backup [login to view URL]

We are looking for a code snippet for backing up/restoring the [url removed, login to view] file under WM5.0 with _strictly_ no reboot needed. We already investigated 2 solutions. 1) File copy [url removed, login to view] being locked by the system, one could try to temporarily unlock [url removed, login to view] and copy it to an another cemail.bak. Later, we would just do the very same operation but copy [url removed, login to view] to cemail.vol. So far, this solution proved to be unsuccessful because it wasn't possible to remove the system lock on [url removed, login to view] 2) EDB copy Now, an another way might be tougher but more feasible. We can actually try to open and read [url removed, login to view] as an EDB, create a new EDB called [url removed, login to view] and dump all [url removed, login to view] EDB content to [url removed, login to view] one. Once again, later, we would just do the very same operation but read [url removed, login to view] EDB volume and restore it to [url removed, login to view] one. We have an existing sample for that, but there seems to have some issues (not all mails are restored correctly and seems to act randomly). Thus, we'd like to find someone who could make a fully functionnal code snippet to accomplish the [url removed, login to view] backup/restore tasks with one of the 2 methods described above. We can supply the existing source code for the EDB copy code sample as a working base for you to go faster (which still doesn't work perfectly). I repeat and insist on the fact that this code snippet should never need a reboot.
